Friends Forever

Of all human relationships friendship is the most divine,
Because only friends accept and cherish everything about you even the way you whine!

Some people treasure books others precious gems,
What I treasure most is the times spent with my friends.

Each with their own quirks which make it all the more fun,
A bond forms over the late night chats talking till the rising of the sun.

True friends will never agree with you on everything,
I have been chastised many a times and asked “what the hell were you thinking?”

But you will never hear them say “I told you so,”
When you make mistakes or suffer a heartbreak they help you let go.

For you they don many roles,
Like children to your parents, enemies to your foes.

Nothing about them to you is unknown,
Their homes almost like your own.

Life without friends would be an awful song,
No one to tell you that the tune you are humming is completely wrong.

Education, careers might build a physical distance,
But every time you need them they know may be they have a sixth sense.

God created mothers because he could not be everywhere,
And he created friends so that we have some one with whom everything we share.

There is nothing great enough I can do to show my gratitude,
All I can do is give a hug and say an thank you!

Me and my crazy observations

Some of my crazy observations and interpretations :)

From autowallas: If you wanna get to your goal quicker than others only having money(read big cars) does not help, you also have to be a little crazy and absolutely fearless. If you din’t get it travel by an auto for a month you will know what defying death means.

From traffic jams: Sometimes taking the unknown and longer route is better than the short cut because nothing can replace peace of mind. You might save a few minutes on the short cut but you won’t enjoy the ride. So basically what I’m trying to say is always do what you want in life, don’t be scared to take the “road less traveled by”. Maybe you will not match up to the monetary standards set by your peers and expected of you socially but the journey is yours and no amount of money or the social status money brings with it can beat the happiness of doing what you want everyday.

Some rare times traffic jams are good. All of us must surely have at least a few good memories of traffic jams rite?

From Bus Drivers: Expect the unexpected. Buses for me are synonymous with DANGER and my friends who drive agree with this completely. They are like the lecturers/bosses from hell, you can’t do anything about them even if they screw you for no fault of yours:)

From teeth: Getting a wisdom tooth definitely doesn’t mean you become wise, no one would be a better example than me. Haha

From autos again: You can never sleep as peacefully in any car as you can in an auto or bus.

From jeans: Pair of jeans are like your friends, you get more comfortable with them along the years and you know their true worth when they protect you from a rough fall. And such jeans are never thrown away even if you buy new ones:)

Words we use

I love you, I love you too. Haven’t you heard these words being used commonly and casually? A guy says it to a girl or a girl says it to a guy they proclaim to be madly in love and after a month can’t stand each other. “Instant love” I would like to call it disappears as quickly as it appears. Teenage is the time when you experience feelings of infatuation, admiration or plain lust for the opposite sex and also immaturity and teenage are synonymous due to such reasons. But teenager or adult how can people be so shallow when it comes to relationships? Why on earth become someone’s ‘boyfriend’ or ‘girlfriend’ when you don’t completely like them? Yes at some point of time each one of us must have felt the want or wish to be liked by a person romantically but it is beyond me how u can claim to “love” someone after knowing them for just a very short span. Public displays of affection is considered cool and the relationships itself seems like it’s up for public display .Whatever happened to privacy? Attraction is understandable and very much normal but I cannot help being surprised by the frivolous relationships I see around. Sometimes you are scared to ask the other person about their ‘guy or girl’ cos it’s very much probably there is a new person in their place. It almost reminds me of that gaming advertisement where people are competing about everything here it’s just their love life. I’m no expert on love I do not know very well how things should be but I do know how they should not be. . But when you see some people who genuinely like each other, do not feel the need to go about announcing it and who realize the commitment and respect that should accompany the word love, hope prevails!
